My favorite way to journal? Getting behind closed doors, studying passages in depth, playing reassuring worship music, and being still in God’s voice (Matthew 6:6; Psalms 46:10).

If I feel stuck after a long day, I may even whip out some fine tip markers to doodle with. In these black and white images, accompanied by God’s truth, I encourage you to do the same.

We pray for every person turning this book into their personal study journal. That you learn more about God’s gracious character and remember you are not alone in this world. Take heart in knowing that God has created prosperous plans just for you (Jeremiah 29:11).
